Are Tired of Feeling Tired? Sleep Problem?
It may be a bit odd to some, but logical to others, but how you sleep influences all aspects of your daily life. There are millions of people who are sleep-deprived; which may be good news for the pharmaceutical companies but not for the body, mind, and soul.
The body is repaired and processes the events of the day during sleep. In the past, people could get 8-9 hours of sleep, but the majority of people today report getting 5-7 hours of rest.
Your quality rest is essential. Short naps are a great way to replenish your batteries by the afternoon, however, at night, we must be in tune with our body rhythms (circadian cycles) and permit the Melatonin produced in our stores of Serotonin and Serotonin – to help us to reach sleep. Delta brainwave frequency is required to sleep.
We all have various cycles in our sleeping cycle each night and the most prominent ones are Rapid Eye Movement sleep – when we sleep, our bodies should be in a state of numbness to stop us from playing out our fantasies – and restorative sleep, which is the deepest. it is necessary to balance our body’s complex chemical system.
Sleep deprivation
Sleep deprivation and stress can cause havoc to our bodies, resulting in lower Myelin put down on nerve cells. This could imply that we’re unable to think clearly and are more likely to experience neurological problems as well. (Dr. Daniel Amen)
Sleep deprivation can cause psychosis. That’s why it’s been used for torture!
Based on the findings of Prof. Colin Espie of the University of Glasgow, Scotland; who has researched the sleep patterns of over 12,000 adults, 51% of people struggle to fall asleep and stay asleep. 75% of them were females and 25% were men.
Due to poor sleep, 55% of respondents reported problems with their relationships 77% of respondents were affected by a lack of ability to concentrate. 64% reported that they had less productivity at work. 83% experienced mood issues and 93% were tired.
Causes
Long-term and prolonged sleep deprivation causes an increase in Cortisol concentrations (implicated as depression) and the death of brain cells within the memory and mood centers of the brain, known as the Hippocampus) as well as higher levels of insulin and weight gain. There is also an increase in the hormone grehlin which causes hunger and decreases appetite-suppressing hormones, known as PYY. You’ll eat more food in order to make up for the absence of sleep. And will want more sugars, refined carbs, and stimulants as a consequence. Sleep deprivation also leads to depression, attention-deficit disorder, problems with learning and memory; as well as being a contributing factor to more severe health conditions. Depression is treated with Hypnite 3 mg pill.
Sleeping enough can be the difference between living a miserable exhausted, foggy, and unfocused life. One where you’re healthy focused efficient and productive.
Fear, stress, worry, and anxiety can result in the appearance of a vicious cycle while trying to get to sleep. It is possible to be afflicted by head-heckling or mind-chatter which prevents us from shifting gears to Theta brainwaves and finally sleep. Delta brainwave state that goes with sleep.
We cannot think and sleep simultaneously But turning off the “thinking” requires focused effort.
The general advice
The general advice in magazines advises us to do things that for many seem obvious, such as drinking no caffeine before going to bed, staying cool, staying in a dark room with an incredibly comfortable bed, and not having any electronic devices in our vicinity as well as having candles with scents and bathing with essential oils like lavender. All of these are helpful however they do not solve the problem for many.
Exhaustion may be required for some individuals to stop responding to the constant stream of images, thoughts, and concepts generated by a part of the brain referred to as”the Reticular activating system. This brings a variety of seemingly insignificant thoughts to our attention. It is a constant state of mind until we can be aware of this and stop it. It is then possible for us to fall into a more relaxed “zone” that is necessary for sleeping.
Brainwave entrainment is proven to dramatically improve sleep, as well as tackle anxiety and anxieties that keep our minds churning instead of slowing it down.
I’ve come up with an easy way to achieve this. I’m calling it a “BEER to sleep”!
BEER is an abbreviation for the 4 stages needed, which, when explained in phrases, refers to slowing down your Breath and lowering the Eyes (which will rise every time you start thinking and again, which is why you be required to persist) and removing the mind and relaxing your Body ….all that will help prepare your body to sleep.
None of them have the “side effects” that are associated with prescription medications like Zopiclone 7.5 mg, zolpidem, and zaleplon – whose adverse effects include loss of taste nausea dry mouth, vomiting, headache, dizziness, and drowsiness or diarrhea, hallucinations, and headaches. These medications can also be addictive!
